Watch: Exclusive Sorry for Your Loss Clip Encourages Leigh to Read the Comments

Reader, let it be said that I really dislike Facebook and would prefer to not watch TV there. And yet, Sorry for Your Loss is worth it. This gentle, soulful, raw, incredible series follows a young widow, Leigh (Elizabeth Olsen) as she grapples with the loss of her husband and what life should look like for her now. Halfway through Season Two, we’ve seen Leigh have a big emotional setback after a moving tribute to Matt at the school where he taught, but she was brought out of her deep depression by his brother, Danny (Jovan Adepo), who also confessed his feelings for her. It’s a confusing time, but one person Leigh can rely on is her friend and editor (Zack Robidas), who in our exclusive clip not only encourages Leigh to read the comments on her recent post (because they are actually great), but also pledges his own support. “I will get down on that bathroom floor with you, I don’t care about diseases. I don’t ever want you to feel alone.”

Leigh’s comments that she felt like she was stuck in a dark place where nothing could help is exactly the kind of hard but true statement that Sorry for Your Loss consistently trades in. Leigh is coping until she isn’t, and the same is true for her sister Jules (Kelly Marie Tran) and her addiction. In the upcoming episode, “Weird Day,” “Leigh is surprised to find herself drawn to a stranger and goes on her first date since Matt died. Jules shows up at the wrong location for AA, which leads her on an adventure of her own.”

So yes, this will be an important episode, and if you aren’t caught up you should be! This is a truly great show.
