Primavera Sound, the massive music festival in Barcelona, regularly has an excellent lineup with musicians across all genres. 2019’s selection is no different, with names like Snail Mail, Big Thief, Courtney Barnett, Robyn, Stereolab and many, many more. Just looking at this list is FOMO-inducing.
Unfortunately, the festival starts today, May 30, making it too late for a last-minute trip for most of us—but fortunately, many of the festival’s best acts will be available to stream via radio and video. The livestream, branded Radio Primavera Sound, will feature more than just live performances, also promising interviews, talk shows, and “special programmes,” per a press release. Not every concert is getting recorded to video, but nearly everything is guaranteed to be broadcast sonically.
Confirmed streams include features from Soccer Mommy, Lucy Dacus, Kurt Vile, Guided by Voices, the names we listed above and many more. All told, there’ll be over 30 hours of concert streams.
The whole stream is explained in a quick video below, and you’ll find the livestream itself further down, along with Big Thief’s 2016 Daytrotter Session. You can also catch all the streams via Primavera Sound Radio.
