Let's Do Brunch: 5 Morning Cocktails Beyond the Mimosa

The key to any good brunch is good cocktails. While a standard mimosa can probably work in a pinch, putting a little effort into your weekend brunch drink list can make your gathering stand head and shoulders above the rest.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration, here are a few brunch-worthy cocktails to get you started.


Club Sprtiz

Ingredients:
3.5 oz. prosecco spumante
1.75 oz. RinQuinQuin
0.5 oz. St-Germain
0.5 oz. Shiso Cordial
0.25 oz. Martini & Rossi Riserva Speciale Bitter

Directions: Pour all the ingredients into a small wineglass filled with ice. Stir to combine. Garnish with shiso leaves and grapefruit zest.


Nolet’s Silver Rose Gimlet

Ingredients:
1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Fresh Lemonade
.5 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Rose Petals

Directions: Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with rose petals.  


Bacardi Lime Cooler

Ingredients:
2 parts BACARDÍ Lime Flavored Rum
¾ parts Watermelon Liqueur
¾ parts Lime Juice
½ parts Simple Syrup
2 parts Club Soda
Watermelon Wedge
Lime Wheel

Directions: Shake ingredients vigorously with plenty of crushed ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a watermelon wedge and lime wheel.


NEO Fresco

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. FACUNDO NEO Rum
.5 oz. Chareau Aloe liqueur
.25 oz. St George Raspberry liqueur
.25 oz. simple syrup
.5 oz. lime juice
Kaffir lime leaf for garnish

Directions: Shake all ingredients and strain into a coupe glass.  Garnish with a kaffir lime leaf.


Brockmans Gin Frosé

Ingredients:
2 oz. Brockmans Gin
1 oz. Rose liqueur
.25 oz. Lemon juice
4 oz. Rosé wine
2 Small scoops crushed ice
Edible rose petals for garnish

Directions: Combine Brockmans Gin, rose liqueur, lemon juice and rosé wine in a shaker with ice. Strain into a large stemmed wine glass filled with crushed ice. Alternatively, add all the ingredients into a blender with ice cubes and blend until the ice is crushed. Scoop the frozen mixture into a large stemmed wine glass. Garnish with sugared or fresh rose petals.
