A24 has released the trailer for their forthcoming film The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
The Last Black Man in San Francisco is the directorial debut from Joe Talbot, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rob Richert and composed the score.
The film is inspired by the story of its star, Jimmie Fails, centering around themes of gentrification and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the places we call “home.” It premiered at Sundance as a sensation, winning the awards for Best Director and Special Jury Award. The film also stars Jonathan Majors, Rob Morgan, Tichina Arnold and Danny Glover.
