Watch the Trailer for a Star-Studded New Season of Documentary Now

Featuring a slew of guest stars and a rather large mirror being held up to the human condition, Documentary Now! is back in 2019. The Fred Armisen and Bill Hader mockumentary series returns for “Season 52” (read: season three) Feb. 20 on IFC.

Co-created alongside Rhys Thomas and fellow Saturday Night Live alum Seth Meyers, the Emmy-nominated love letter to the craft of documentary filmmaking received a new trailer on Thursday. The minute-long clip previews a return from beloved host Dame Helen Mirren, and an episode based around a Marina Abramovic-type portrayed by Cate Blanchett.

The new season will feature an outstanding guest star roster including Blanchett, Michael Keaton, Owen Wilson, Michael C. Hall, John Mulaney, Taran Killam, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Bobby Moynihan, Natasha Lyonne, Paula Pell, Richard Kind, James Urbaniak and more.

See the full trailer below. You can catch IFC’s Documentary Now! Wednesdays starting on Feb. 20 at 11 p.m.
