This year marks the 35th iteration of the stalwart Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, set for July 12-31 in Montreal, and damn, it’s a ridiculous lineup.
It’d be near-impossible to unpack it and do it total justice, so here are just a few performers that will be appearing in Montreal: Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Judd Apatow, Laverne Cox, Trevor Noah, Ali Wong, John Mulaney, David Spade, Howie Mandel, Gad Elmaleh, Chris D’Elia, Tom Segura, Sugar Sammy, Mike Birbiglia, Moshe Kasher, Natasha Leggero, Danny McBride and Jake Hurwitz.
And that’s not even close to everyone. The announcement for this thing could be a book. Apatow’s actually doing stand-up again. Noah’s hosting a conversation. Cox is hosting a comic gala (one of several). Several of the comics are debuting material for new tours (count Mulaney, Wong and Birbiglia in that category). Live podcasts are, of course, being recorded. Basically any type of live event involving comedy is happening at this thing.
Even more info about the comedy behemoth is available here.
